High-Volume Meal Prep

Simple High-Protein Baked Pasta Recipe

Staying consistent with your fitness lifestyle is effortless when your fridge is stocked with ready-to-reheat options. This simple high-protein pasta bake is designed with high-volume meal prep in mind, making it easy to portion out for the week ahead. The complex flavors within the Sturdy Sauce and the savory proteins actually deepen and improve by day two, ensuring your Wednesday lunch tastes spectacular. Because the noodles are baked directly into the sauce matrix, they maintain an excellent, firm texture during the reheating process. It is a highly reliable, straightforward recipe that ensures a nutritious, macro-friendly meal is always ready when you are.

Ingredients

  • 2 jars Sturdy Sauce
  • 500g High-protein rigatoni or penne
  • 500g Lean ground turkey or plant-based crumbles
  • 2 cups Baby spinach (wilted into the sauce for volume)
  • 1/2 cup Shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the 500g of pasta until it is just under al dente.
  2. In a large pot, brown your ground protein, then pour in both jars of Sturdy Sauce and add the baby spinach until it wilts.
  3. Stir the undercooked pasta directly into the large pot of meat sauce until completely integrated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a large baking pan (9x13), scatter the cheese over the top, cover tightly with foil, and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes until the center is hot throughout and the cheese is golden, then cool slightly before portioning into containers.
