Pizza Monkey Bread

Pizza Monkey Bread

Pizza. Monkey Bread. Protein. Three things that don’t usually hang out together—but today, they’re besties. This Pizza Monkey Bread recipe is the perfect pull-apart party food, but what makes it even better? Dipping it in Sturdy Marinara Sauce, the high-protein sauce that makes snack time feel like you’re still crushing your fitness goals. With 25 grams of protein and only 340 calories per serving, this recipe is what comfort food looks like, minus the guilt.

What You’ll Need

  • 1 cup Sturdy Marinara Sauce
  • 2 cans (16.3 ounces each) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (or your preferred protein-packed topping)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

How to Make It

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan or a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters. In a large bowl, combine the biscuit pieces, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Toss until everything is well coated.
  3. Place the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is cooked through.
  5. While the monkey bread is baking, heat the Sturdy Sauce Original Marinara in a saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.
  6. Once the monkey bread is done, let it cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with the high-protein marinara sauce for dipping.

Baked This Ziti? Let’s See It!

Sturdy Sauce is not just your average sauce. It’s the world’s first high-protein pasta sauce—like, 20 grams of protein per ¼ cup kind of high. That’s more than most protein bars, but way tastier.

It’s made with a proprietary protein blend, zero added sugar, and it’s gluten-free and keto-friendly. So yeah, it checks all the nutrition boxes while still tasting like real, cozy, Sunday-simmered sauce.
