The Ultimate High-Protein Chicken & Garlic Pasta

This recipe uses a high-protein dairy base to create a creamy, garlic-infused sauce that pairs perfectly with a post-workout appetite. By quickly sauteing aromatics before adding your sauce, you create a gourmet experience in minimal time. Greek yogurt or cottage cheese provides a rich, restaurant-quality finish without the excessive fat of heavy cream — just be sure to temper it properly for the smoothest result.


Ingredients

  • 1 jar Sturdy Sauce
  • 250g pre-cooked lean chicken strips or freshly cooked chicken breast, sliced
  • 200g high-protein spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt or blended cottage cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-low heat. Add the sliced garlic and saute for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
  3. Add the chicken and Sturdy Sauce, stirring to combine, and bring to a light simmer.
  4. Temper the Greek yogurt or cottage cheese by spooning a small amount of the hot sauce into it and stirring to warm it gradually, then stir the mixture back into the pan. This prevents curdling.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and toss until the sauce coats the noodles evenly. Serve immediately.
